College Bound

ACT: The ACT test is a standardized college readiness exam required for all Juniors in the spring. Though it is not as heavily weighted today for college entrance, it is still used for scholarships and college placement exams. Click here for the 2024 parent letter with additional information. Our school code is 270930.

Apply Montana: The hub for Montana college applications. Application fees are waived during College Application Week in October.

FAFSA: Review and apply for all your federal financial aid needs. The FAFSA is changing this year!! A *NEW* video from Reach Higher has recently been released and can be found here. Check it out for more information, and stay tuned for a special Financial Aid Night coming soon! Listed below is information that you will need to complete the FAFSA:

Create an FSA ID (Click here for a step-by-step worksheet to create your own.)
Have your Social Security number
Have your driver's license number (if you have one)
Student's and parent's federal income taxes for 2022
Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
Records of assets (if applicable)
List of schools you are interested in

FAFSA ALERT: The new system has been having a multitude of issues and not everything is currently be resolved. It is encouraged to follow the current active issue alerts on this website. It will offer some work-arounds for some, but not all, of the issues.

Apprenticeships: Check out the latest registered apprenticeships throughout the state of Montana.

ASVAB: The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is required for those interested in pursuing a military career. Juniors are recommended to take this in the fall/winter.
