We are so excited to share with you that our Hornet Country Career Fair is returning this Thursday from 1:00-5:00 in the school multipurpose gym! Please enter through the front doors and sign in if school is still in session. Our 2025 Fair is bringing lots more interactive exhibits, from local businesses, regional businesses, apprenticeships, trade programs, and more. In addition, new this year, we are also bringing special presentations, mock interviews, and resume feedback.
The fair will be open to STUDENTS ONLY from White Sulphur Springs Schools as well as Shields Valley from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
The fair will then open to the WHOLE COMMUNITY at 3:00-5:00, including all the special presentations and workshops.

The Grinch made a special appearance at breakfast this morning to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday which was March 2nd. This week is also National “I Love to Read” Week. Don’t forget K-6 Pastry Pals today in the cafeteria at 3pm.
The following positions are available at White Sulphur Springs Public Schools.
7-12 Math Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. Classes will include two junior high, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra II and other courses as needed by students.
K-12 Music Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. Classes will include elementary music, JH band/choir, and HS band/choir.
Head High School Volleyball Coach for the 2025-26 season. The season begins August 15th. Must have all proper or be able to obtain all proper coaching certifications.
Head High School Boys Basketball Coach for the 2025-26 season. The season begins November 20th.
Head High School Girls Basketball Coach for the 2025-26 season. The season begins November 20th.
Elementary/Junior High Boys Basketball Coach for the 2025-26 season. The season begins mid-October and will conclude in early December.
All employment positions require a state and federal background check.

Girls lost a hard fought battle in overtime to Shields 56-58. They play at the MAC at 11:30 tomorrow against Manhattan Christian. Cheer loud from everywhere. They are going to need it.

The FFA Sales Team traveled to Livingston on Monday for the District Competition. Macen McDanel placed 7th overall individually, and the team placed 6th. Great job kids! Go Hornets!!

White Sulphur Springs School will have a two hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, February 18th. Buses will run the routes two hours later than usual. School will begin at 10:15.
