
Adult education sewing class starts next week!


Huge thank you to Showdown and Mrs. Boreczky for three successful school PE ski days for the third through sixth grades. All of our students gained valuable lessons on the hill.








An Army recruiter will be available to speak to interested students on Tuesday, February 4 during the lunch hour. Feel free to stop by the school lobby to say hello and learn more about one of the potential military options after graduation.

Whitehall games are rescheduled to 1 pm for Boys Varsity and 2:30 for Girls Varsity. There will be no JV games played. There will be no concessions served. There will be a Labor Auction for FFA at halftime of Boys Varsity game and Little Hornet Basketball at halftime of Girls Varsity game.

Meagher County Arts Council will be presenting "Wardens" at Stageline, Tuesday, January 21st for students at 1 pm and the general public at 7 pm. There will be no charge, donations accepted, due to a recent grant from the Camus Fund.

Aquatic adult education classes begin next week!


Family engagement night: Tuesday, January 14th at 6 pm in the cafeteria. Students K-12 and parents/guardians are encouraged to come out and enjoy an evening of Bingo. We will be sharing briefly about what your children are learning in school, programs available and answering any questions. There is no cost. There will be minimal snacks served.

Little Hornet basketball started on enrichment Fridays. They will be practicing on Fridays and playing at home games.



Gallatin college was here to register our students for Dual credit Metal Working and Welding. Thank you to Mr. Moore for going the extra mile to get certified for our students.




Our first Enrichment Friday will be January 17th from 8:00-1:00. Parents will need to notify the classroom teacher of their child/children's attendance by the end of the day today (Monday) and if their child will need breakfast/lunch. K-12 Breakfast $2.25 K-6 Lunch $2.75 7-12 Lunch $3.00. If your child is in JH/HS and will attend, you can notify the office. Thank you! Go Hornets!!

The Hornet Country Career Readiness Fair is returning for its second year, and submissions are officially open for employers, resources, and more. The focus of this fair is for those students who are interested in career bound options after high school, including but not limited to school to work, apprenticeships and specialized training, and military options. We will also have a new feature this year with a limited number of specialized demonstrations and/or interactive exhibits. If you are interested in participating as a vendor or exhibit, please complete the form linked below. Confirmation emails will be sent for all tables and demonstrations at the beginning of February. More information in how to participate in the fair as a student or community member will be announced at a later date.
